Los Angeles slipped to a second defeat in three games in the MLS last weekend when they were dealt a 2-0 loss away from home at the early Western Conference leaders Minnesota United but the hosts return to their BMO Stadium looking to set the record straight against a Nashville outfit who collected their first win of the season last weekend thanks to a 2-1 home win against Charlotte.

Los Angeles produced a promising start to this new campaign with a 2-1 home win against Seattle Sounders but things have come undone in recent weeks for the hosts as they have managed to pick up just one further point from their subsequent three league games.

Defeats away from home at Real Salt lake 3-0 and the aforementioned 2-0 loss at Minnesota United were either side of a 0-0 draw at home with Sporting Kansas but despite suffering these early season defeats, Los Angeles will still feel confident about their chances on home turf this weekend.

Nashville sit mid-table in the Eastern Conference ladder and the visitors bring a four-match unbeaten start to this new MLS season into this upcoming encounter at BMO Stadium having picked up points in draws with the likes of New York RB, Colorado Rapids and LA Galaxy along with last week's 2-1 win against Charlotte.

However, despite producing what is an encouraging start to this new campaign, the fact still remains that Nashville continue to find league wins hard to come by in the MLS overall as Gary Smith's side have managed to capture just three victories from their last 19 matches overall while also being handed eight defeats in the process as well.
