Castellon will return to their home surroundings of the Nou Estadi Castalia with renewed confidence having picked up their first win of this new La Liga 2 campaign last time out when they collected a 2-0 win on the road at Burgos, while Cadiz have yet to register their first win of this new season having lost once and then followed that up with two draws.

Castellon have therefore produced a mixed and indifferent start to this new La Liga 2 campaign as the hosts have won, drawn and lost in equal measure; an opening day 1-0 defeat away from home at Eibar has been followed by a point in a 0-0 draw at home with Real Oviedo before recording the aforementioned 2-0 win on the road at Burgos, so anything could happen here on Monday night.

The visitors suffered the agony of relegation down from La Liga at the end of last season and the visitors are now getting used to life in the second tier again but although Cadiz have managed to capture just four wins out of their last 18 matches in all competitions, last season's experience of rubbing shoulders with Spain's elite clubs can only have done Cadiz some good.
