Valladolid slipped to a fifth defeat in six games in the Spanish top flight on the weekend when the hosts were handed a 2-1 defeat away from home at Las Palmas which resulted in the upcoming hosts remaining at the bottom of the La Liga table ahead of this relegation battle against Valencia on Friday night.
