Dundee United were handed a heavy 3-1 defeat away from home at Dunfermline last weekend in the Scottish Championship but the hosts now return to the more familiar surroundings of their Tannadice Park for this upcoming clash against second from bottom Inverness CT as Dundee united look to bounce back with a win here, while Inverness CT slipped to a 2-1 defeat at home to Ayr United last weekend.

Despite last week's slip-up at Dunfermline, Dundee United still remain top of the Scottish Championship standings but they now sit level on 58 points apiece with second placed Raith Rovers as the battle for automatic promotion intensifies as each game passes.
