Arbroath were handed a second defeat on the trot in the Scottish Championship last weekend when they suffered a heavy 5-2 loss away from home at Airdrie which followed a previous 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Dundee United, both defeats being inflicted upon Jim McIntyre's side away from home, while Partick Thistle returned to winning ways last weekend as they recorded a welcome 2-1 home win against Greenock Morton to maintain their third place position in the Championship table.
