Viking's promising three-match winning streak came to an abrupt halt last time out in the Norwegian Eliteserien when they were handed a disappointing 1-0 loss away from home at Haugesund, while Molde also suffered defeat in their last game in the Norwegian top flight, losing 3-2 at home to KFUM Oslo, so both teams will be keen to set the record straight here at the SR-Bank Arena on Monday night.

The previous 13 games overall have seen Molde pick up five wins, four draws and four defeats so the prospects of an away win here do seem to at least hang in the balance even though the visitors have collected three wins on the road within this total of five victories.

Wins on their travels at Odd, Brann and Tromso will give Molde a boost though as they prepare for this upcoming trip to the SR-Bank Arena especially as Erling Moe's side have been handed just three defeats in their previous 16 outings on the road which must surely give the away side a decent chance of getting something out of this upcoming encounter.
