Atalanta moved up into sixth place in the Italian top flight standings following a point in last week's 1-1 draw away from home at Roma which followed a 1-0 home win against Lecce just before the Christmas break, while Frosinone dropped down to 15th place in the Serie A table after being handed a 3-2 loss at home to Monza which became a fourth defeat on the trot for the visitors.

Having picked up four points from their last two games in the domestic top flight, Atalanta have moved up into one of the European places in the table and the hosts will be looking for more of the same on Monday night when they play host to lower half occupants, Frosinone, at their Gewiss Stadium.
