Waterford were dealt a 1-0 defeat away from home at the Irish Premier Division league leaders, Shelbourne, in last week's domestic top flight action but having previously recorded three wins on the trot, Thursday night's hosts will be eager to return to winning ways here at their Waterford Regional Sports Centre, while Drogheda United also suffered defeat last week when they slipped to a 3-2 loss at home to Galway United, so the visitors still remain sitting second from bottom in the Premier Division table.
