Second from bottom club Dundalk will no doubt be eager to avoid a third league defeat on the trot in the Irish Premier Division when they play host to Drogheda United at their Oriel Park on Friday night after being handed defeats to Waterford and Shamrock Rovers, while bottom placed visitors Drogheda United's winless run in the Premier Division extended to nine games following a 1-1 draw at home with Shelbourne last week.
