KuPS registered a comprehensive 4-1 home win against Oulu on the weekend in the Finnish top flight has also maintained the hosts' grip in top place in the Veikkausliiga table where they hold a two-point lead over second placed VPS, while Haka also recorded a win in the domestic top flight on Friday which came in the form of a 2-0 home win against Mariehamn as well.

Seven wins and four draws within their opening 11 games to date this term have not only helped lift KuPS to the top of the domestic top flight table but also suggests the hosts are likely to be too strong for their upcoming visitors, Haka, when the two teams meet on Wednesday night.
