The other of the two Italian clubs featuring in the semi-finals of this season's Europa League sees Juventus taking on Spanish club, Sevilla, with this 1st leg clash taking place at the Allianz Stadium where Juventus will be eager to exploit home advantage in Torino on Thursday night.

Recent results have been questionable where Juventus have been concerned as the Old Lady had managed to capture just one win in their last eight matches in all competitions which came in the form of a 1-0 home win over Sporting Lisbon in the previous round of the Europa League but the hosts had also succumbed to four defeats within this period as well.

Sevilla also bring a decent sequence of results into this 1st leg tie in Torino as the Spanish visitors have lost just once in their last nine matches overall in all competitions which includes picking up six wins in the process.

Within this promising run of results, Sevilla accounted for Premier League side, Manchester United, as the Spanish outfit recorded a 5-2 win on aggregate against the Red Devils that was decided with an emphatic 3-0 rout of Erik ten Hag's men 3-0 in the return leg in Seville.

However, Sevilla also had to endure a tough run of results in recent times as the La Liga side failed to win any of their preceding seven games in all competitions from the end of January through to mid-March, a worrying sequence that included no fewer than six defeats.

Sevilla have since staged a comeback though, putting together a four-match unbeaten run which includes three wins, so they will make their way to Torino in reasonably confident mood.

Juventus have usually been more accustomed to Champions League campaigns but nevertheless, the hosts remain unbeaten at home in the Europa League, being unbeaten in their last 14 home ties and keeping eight clean sheets in the process.

Sevilla have struggled in previous outings in the Europa League as the Spanish side have failed to win any of their last five away ties, suffering four defeats within this sequence, so they may well have their work cut out here.
