Tottenham collected a third win on the trot in the Premier League over the weekend as Spurs avenged an earlier defeat in the season to Ipswich Town at Portman Road with a resounding 4-1 victory but prospects of a fourth win on the trot on Wednesday night are expected to come under close scrutiny by visitors Manchester City.

Prior to these two recent defeats, Manchester City had put together a promising looking six-match unbeaten sequence which included picking up four wins in the process, thanks to victories gained over Leicester City, West Ham, Ipswich Town and Chelsea respectively.

Pep Guardiola's side have managed to capture just two wins from their last nine outings on the road in the Premier League whilst being dealt five defeats but the visitors should be highly motivated to gain a result in the nation's capital on Wednesday night as they seek to maintain their place in the top four.
