Tottenham were unable to make it three wins on the trot in the Premier League just before the international break as Spurs were dealt a heavy 3-0 defeat away from home at Craven Cottage against Fulham but nevertheless, the north London club still remain in fifth place in the top flight standings and the hosts will be confident that they can return to winning ways when they play host to lowly Luton Town on Saturday afternoon.

Points picked up in draws with Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest have been outweighed by defeats incurred against Sheffield United, Manchester United, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Bournemouth, so the chances of Luton Town pulling off a surprise victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium look fairly remote.

Goals for both sides could feature though as each of Luton Town's last eight games overall in the Premier League have resulted in both teams scoring and this trend looks set to continue on Saturday afternoon.
