Manchester United have struggled for wins in recent weeks in the Premier League but even when the Red Devils have produced a winning performance, the margins are still quite close and scrappy as per their 1-0 win away from home at Fulham at Craven Cottage last weekend.

Crystal Palace's promising five-match unbeaten run in the Premier League came to an end last weekend when The Eagles were dealt a 2-1 defeat at home by London rivals, Brentford, and Oliver Glasner's side now face a trip up to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Manchester United have managed to collect just three wins from their last 10 games overall in the Premier League which came by way of securing maximum points against the likes of Manchester City, Southampton and Fulham respectively, but the Red Devils have also slipped to six defeats within this period as well.

Surprisingly, four out of Manchester United's last six defeats have been inflicted upon Ruben Amorim's side on home soil at Old Trafford which is a far cry from previous campaigns where United were at least tough to beat at home.

Losses at home to Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Brighton respectively have been a blow to United's plans but last week's win at Fulham will give the hosts a welcome boost as they look to lift themselves up into the top half of the table.

Prior to last week's 2-1 loss at home to Brentford, Crystal Palace had collected three wins within their preceding five games overall in the English top flight which came in the shape of victories gained over the likes of Southampton, Leicester City and West Ham, all of which were also away from home.

Indeed, after a rather shaky start to this Premier League campaign which resulted in Crystal Palace failing to win any of their opening eight games, The Eagles have slowly but surely improved over the past few months and currently occupy 13th place in the table.

Recent results show Crystal Palace have been handed just three defeats in their last 15 matches overall in the English top flight which were dealt out to Oliver Glasner's side by way of losses at the hands of Fulham, Arsenal and Brentford respectively, all of which were on home soil at Selhurst Park.

The bigger picture though suggests there is still a lot of room for improvement for Palace especially away from home as the London club have registered just six wins from their last 24 outings on the road, whilst slipping to nine defeats as well.
