Manchester United vs Arsenal Preview

Manchester United maintained their unbeaten tag in European football on Thursday night when the Red Devils held Real Sociedad to a useful 1-1 draw in the 1st leg of their Europa League tie, but Ruben Amorim's side face a tough assignment on Sunday afternoon when they play host to high-flying Arsenal despite holding home advantage at Old Trafford.

Arsenal meanwhile taught Dutch outfit PSV a footballing lesson at the Philips Stadion in midweek in the 1st leg of their Champions League clash as The Gunners ran riot with a comprehensive 7-1 victory in the Netherlands, so the north London visitors will be in confident mood ahead of Sunday's clash against an out-of-sorts Manchester United outfit.

Manchester United will now turn their attentions back to the Premier League where Ruben Amorim's side will be desperate to gain any sort of consistency to their results in the English top flight having collected just three wins from their previous 11 games overall.
