It is of course still early days in this new Premier League season but this upcoming clash between strugglers, Luton Town and Wolves, has something of a relegation dress-rehearsal about it when the two teams meet at Kenilworth Road on Saturday afternoon as both sides find themselves languishing in the lower reaches of the English top flight table.

Wolves have been handed four defeats in their opening five games of this new term having suffered losses at the hands of Manchester United, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Liverpool, so they too are by no means guaranteed all three points in this upcoming clash at Kenilworth Road.

The bigger picture further underlines the problems that Wolves have experienced in recent times in the Premier League as the visitors look to stay afloat against an ever rising tide as they have registered just one win in their last eight games and suffered no fewer than six defeats in the process.

Both Luton Town and Wolves have produced poor starts to this new Premier League campaign and this could make for a scrappy and dour affair at Kenilworth Road on Saturday afternoon as neither side can afford another defeat here.
