Both Leicester City and Everton have failed to win any of their respective opening four games of this new Premier League campaign but something may have to give at the King Power Stadium this Saturday afternoon as The Foxes and The Toffees clash in an early potential relegation battle with both sides keen to collect their first win of the season.

Leicester City sit two points above their upcoming visitors thanks to picking up draws with the likes of Tottenham and Crystal Palace but in between these two stalemates, Steve Cooper's side have also slipped to losses at the hands of Fulham and Aston Villa respectively.

Since gaining automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, Leicester City have managed to pick up just two wins in their subsequent 10 matches overall in all competitions which came by way of a pre-season friendly 2-1 win against Shrewsbury Town along with a 4-0 thumping of League Two outfit Tranmere Rovers in the League Cup.

The hosts have managed to win just once in their last six home games at the King Power Stadium but Leicester City have still fared better than visitors Everton.

Onto Everton and The Toffees surrendered yet another two-goal advantage in the Premier League last weekend when the merseyside club eventually lost 3-2 away from home against Aston Villa at Villa Park despite being 2-0 up.

For a side to lose 3-2 when 2-0 up just once is bad enough but for this to have happened twice on the trot is enough to be giving manager Sean Dyche sleepless nights as his side have yet to pick up even a point so far in this season's campaign whilst slipping to four defeats on the trot.

Everton have now been handed defeats at the hands of Brighton, Tottenham, Bournemouth and Aston Villa and together with their final day 2-1 loss away from home at Arsenal at the end of last season, that now makes it five defeats on the trot for The Toffees.

Results away from home have also been very disappointing as Everton have failed to collect a single win from their previous 13 outings on the road whilst slipping to nine defeats in the process, so the prospects of an away win here this Saturday at the King Power Stadium do not look very promising.

Both Leicester City and Everton have produced miserable starts to their respective Premier League campaigns and both will be keen to grab the three points here but it's Leicester City who may just hold the slight edge heading into this encounter as The Foxes registered a 2-0 win away from home at Goodison Park in their last meeting.
