Fulham were probably relieved to be heading into the international break having slipped to a third defeat in four games after suffering a heavy 3-1 loss away from home at Aston Villa but the hosts now return to Craven Cottage for this upcoming clash against Wolves as the hosts look to kick-start their Premier League campaign, while Wolves are expected to be feeling upbeat about their chances having despatched of Tottenham 2-1 at home prior to the break.

Previous losses to Tottenham and Manchester United in 2-0 and 1-0 defeats respectively along with that loss at Aston Villa have resulted with Fulham slipping down the table to 15th place where they at least a hold a useful seven-point cushion over third from bottom Sheffield United, but having collected just two wins from their last 11 league matches overall, Fulham look a vulnerable unit at the moment.

Both of Fulham's wins during this 11-match period were recorded on home soil at Craven Cottage but were registered against strugglers, Luton Town and Sheffield United who sit fourth and third from bottom respectively in the Premier League table.

Wolves leaped up into 12th place following their tremendous 2-1 home win against Tottenham which gave the west midlands club a welcome boost ahead of the international break, and this victory was made that much sweeter for Gary O'Neil's side as the hosts fought back from two goals down to steal the three points by scoring twice during stoppage time.

The visitors had produced a disappointing start to the English top flight season as Wolves had recorded just the one win from their opening five games of the new season which came in the form of a 1-0 win away at Everton but they were also handed four defeats in the process as well.

Defeats to Manchester United, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Liverpool only enhanced fears of another tough and long slog against relegation but Wolves under the guidance of O'Neil look a very different prospect now as Tottenham found out when they visited Molineux.

Wolves have been handed just one further defeat in their subsequent seven games overall while also collecting precious wins against Manchester City, Bournemouth and of course, Tottenham, which will give Wolves plenty of confidence as they make their way to the nation's capital on Monday night.

Fulham have failed to capitalise on using home advantage so far this season and their predicament looks fairly fragile for Monday night's clash as Wolves are unbeaten in their last six meetings with The Cottagers, winning three of the last five games as well.
