Everton gained a reprieve recently when their previous 10-point deduction was revised to just a six-point penalty and that's the reason The Toffees now occupy an elevated position of 15th place in the Premier League table where the merseyside club now possess a five-point cushion above the relegation zone despite failing to win any of their last nine league matches overall.

Recent defeats to Manchester United 3-0, Arsenal 6-0 and Nottingham Forest 2-0 had incurred the wrath from sections of the West Ham following but having lost just four of their last 15 matches in the English top flight and picking up seven wins in the process, perhaps a dose of perspective is needed.

However, results away from home still require attention as West Ham have won just three of their last 10 outings on the road but it is worth mentioning that six of these 10 away games have also resulted in both teams scoring as well.
