Everton progressed through to the next round of the FA Cup on the weekend as The Toffees disposed of League One side Peterborough United with a solid 2-0 home win, but the big news surrounding the merseyside club ahead of this upcoming fixture against Aston Villa is the return of former manager, David Moyes, 11 years after originally leaving the club.

Aston Villa also registered a 3rd round win in the FA Cup over the weekend when The Villans recorded a 2-1 home win against fellow Premier League side West Ham at Villa Park but the west midlands club face what could turn out to be a tricky outing at Goodison Park on Tuesday night.

All four of Aston Villa's wins in these last 12 games were registered on home soil at Villa Park as Unai Emery's side recorded important victories over the likes of Brentford, Southampton, Manchester City and Leicester City, but results away from home have really hampered Villa's ambitions of breaking into the top four pack in the division.

Indeed, all of Villa's five defeats suffered within this 12-match period were inflicted upon the west midlands club on their travels having slipped up at Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United respectively, so this upcoming trip to Goodison Park looks far from being an easy assignment.

Despite a promising start to this current Premier League campaign including putting together a four-match unbeaten start away from home which consisted of three wins and a draw, Aston Villa's form on the road has since declined in alarming fashion as The Villans have subsequently lost their last five away games on the trot.
