Just one point separates Sunday afternoon's hosts, Crystal Palace, and their visitors, Wolves, ahead of this upcoming clash at Selhurst Park with both teams looking for all three points in order to lift them up into the top half of the Premier League table.

Wolves may have been fearing the worst for this upcoming top flight campaign as the west midlands club stumbled to early back-to-back defeats to the likes of Manchester United and Brighton in 1-0 and 4-1 defeats respectively but Gary O'Neil's side managed to bounce back with a narrow 1-0 win away from home at Everton last Saturday to get them off and running.

Nevertheless, although Wolves have picked up five wins in recent times in the Premier League, these have been part of a disappointing 15-match sequence in the domestic top flight and includes eight defeats as well.

It is also worth noting that four of these five wins claimed by Wolves were achieved on home soil at Molineux while results away from home have been woeful as the visitors have managed to capture just one victory from their previous 10 outings on the road.

Indeed, the bigger picture shows this poor run of form on their travels is no sudden decline as the west midlands outfit have registered just three wins from their last 25 away games, two of which were at Everton!
