Chelsea registered a morale-boosting 3-2 home win against Newcastle United to head into the international break on the back of a four-match unbeaten run in the English top flight but the London club still remain in a disappointing mid-table position of 11th place in the Premier League table, while Burnley also produced a rare three points last time out as Vincent Kompany's side recorded a welcome 2-1 home win against Brentford which kept The Clarets within five points of safety.
