Forest Green Rovers picked up a third league win on the trot on the weekend with a 1-0 win away from home at Solihull Moors which helped lift Tuesday night's hosts up into fourth place in the National League table, while AFC Fylde were handed yet another defeat on Saturday when The Glovers slipped to a 4-3 loss at home to Yeovil Town.

After suffering relegation down from League Two at the end of last season's disastrous fourth tier campaign, Forest Green Rovers have dusted themselves down and have produced a promising start to this new National League campaign as Rovers have lost just once in their opening seven games.

That singular defeat came in the shape of a 1-0 loss away from home at sixth placed Barnet but the hosts have also picked up four wins within their opening seven games which consist of important victories against the likes of Boston United, Altrincham, Sutton United and Solihull Moors respectively, the latter two wins both being on their travels.

It's been seven years since Forest Green Rovers last found themselves plying their trade in the non-league top flight but Steve Cotterill's side will be in confident mood as they have lost just once so far this season and they'll be chasing down a fourth consecutive league win here on Tuesday night.

Overall, AFC Fylde have lost four of their last five outings on the road in the non-league top flight and this upcoming trip to The Bolt New Lawn looks like being another tough assignment for the visitors.
