QPR and Norwich City meet at Loftus Road on Wednesday night in an all-Championship affair in the EFL Cup which concludes the fixtures in this 1st round of this season's competition and both teams head into this clash on the back of promising results on the weekend.

Firstly, looking at QPR and although The R's were handed a heavy 4-0 defeat away from home at Watford on the opening day of this season's Championship campaign, Gareth Ainsworth's side immediately bounced back with a slightly surprising 2-1 win away from home at Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.

However, Norwich have also found wins hard to come by in competitive matches of late, especially in the Championship where The Canaries have recorded just two wins from their previous 13 matches overall, so the goals market may be the best option for this upcoming 1st round tie in the League Cup.

With this 1st round tie of the League Cup coming so early in the season, both QPR and Norwich City are expected to field close to, if not, full strength sides as both managers seek to gain early momentum in this new campaign along with increasing their respective teams' match fitness as well.

QPR and Norwich City both head into this upcoming encounter on the back of promising results and although Norwich City are priced as favourites, QPR cannot be ruled out of at least scoring in front of their home faithful who'll be keen to see their side build on Saturday's win at Cardiff City.
