West Brom were handed a second defeat in three games last weekend in the Championship when The Baggies suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss down in the west country at Plymouth Argyle which has left the west midlands club sitting in sixth place and in the last of the play-off spots in the table.

Sheffield Wednesday have picked up five points from their last three games in the Championship thanks to picking up points in draws with Bristol City and Luton Town, along with a welcome 2-0 win away from home at QPR in between the two stalemates.

The Yorkshire club have enjoyed a much more steady and stable campaign this time around in the Championship under German manager Danny Röhl as The Owls have suffered just three defeats in their last 15 matches overall in the second tier along with picking up six wins in the process.

Four of Sheffield Wednesday's six wins have also been achieved on their travels as The Owls have collected important wins on the road at Hull City, Derby County, Oxford United and QPR which serves as a warning shot across the bows for West Brom.

The visitors have managed to win just once in their last four away games though in the Championship and The Baggies will be hoping this will leave the door open for the west midlands club to capitalise here this Saturday.
