Watford's promising and impressive start to the new Championship season was brought to an abrupt halt when The Hornets were handed a 1-0 defeat away from home at Sheffield United just before the international break, while Coventry City slipped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Norwich City, leaving the Sky Blues in the bottom half of the table in 17th place.

Watford still occupy third place though in the early Championship standings despite that loss before the break and The Hornets now return to the more familiar surroundings of their Vicarage Road ground this Saturday afternoon where Tom Cleverley's side will be eager to return to winning ways.

The bigger picture shows the Sky Blues have managed to collect just two wins from their last 12 matches in the domestic second tier whilst also slipping to eight defeats as well, so this sort of form does not bode well against a confident and high-flying Watford outfit this Saturday.

In addition, Coventry City have failed to win any of their last five away games in the second tier, losing three of these games along with failing to score in three of these matches too.
