Sunderland were involved in a fourth draw on the trot in the Championship on Saturday afternoon as the Black Cats drew 1-1 away from home at Millwall, while West Brom rescued a point in a 2-2 draw at home with Norwich City after The Baggies found themselves 2-1 down at The Hawthorns.

Despite having to make do with a point in the nation's capital on the weekend against Millwall, Sunderland's stubborn unbeaten run in the English second tier was extended to an impressive nine matches overall which consists of four wins along with five draws.

West Brom were held to a seventh draw in eight games in the Championship on the weekend after an entertaining 2-2 draw at home with Norwich City but the west midlands visitors nevertheless extended their respective unbeaten run to eight games overall.

The Baggies registered a 2-1 win away from home at Hull City in their previous game in the English second tier and they too have been dealt just the two losses so far in this season's campaign as they look to strengthen their claims for a possible play-off spot this season.

Having managed to capture just six wins from a total of 16 league matches played so far this term though, West Brom's chances of grabbing all three points look to hang in the balance, especially as the visitors have been involved in eight draws to date as well.

In addition, The Baggies have lost just once in their last eight outings on the road, picking up four wins while no fewer than six of these eight away games have also resulted in both teams hitting the back of the net, so the goals market may hold greater appeal for this upcoming clash at the Stadium of Light.
