Ryan Lowe's side had collected no fewer than six wins out of their opening seven games of the new campaign which included wins on the road at Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City but the fact remains that Preston have only just come back off a dismal run of results so confidence is low in terms of whether they have truly turned a corner or not.
