PSG were dealt a 1-0 defeat away from home at Borussia Dortmund in last week's 1st leg of their Champions League semi-final against their German opponents but the Paris club now return to their Parc des Princes for this crucial 2nd leg clash no doubt looking to overhaul this one-goal deficit, while Borussia Dortmund recorded a 5-1 thrashing of Augsburg in the German Bundesliga on the weekend and the visitors will be in confident mood ahead of this return leg.

Prior to the 1-0 defeat in Germany, PSG had been held to a 3-3 draw at home by lowly Le Havre which, although it had little bearing on the Paris club's position at the top of Ligue 1 where they hold a commanding nine-point lead over second placed Monaco, that result nevertheless throws some doubt as to whether the hosts have enough to beat Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night.

The German visitors have picked up four wins in their subsequent eight games in all competitions with wins in the Bundesliga against Borussia M'gladbach and Augsburg while also recording previous wins in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid and PSG as well.

However, three defeats within this eight-game sequence have seen Edin Terzic's side slip to losses at the hands of Stuttgart and RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga along with a 2-1 loss away from home at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, while five of these eight games overall have also resulted in Over 2.5 goals.
