Aston Villa picked up a useful point in a 2-2 draw away from home at Arsenal in the nation's capital on Saturday evening which continued the west midlands club's unbeaten run in all competitions to five games which consists of three wins and two draws.

Recent victories against Leicester City, West Ham and Everton respectively have all been achieved against Premier League struggling sides while also picking up points in draws with Brighton and Arsenal as well, so the visitors will be feeling reasonably confident about their chances in France on Tuesday night.

The bigger picture shows Aston Villa have been handed just two losses in their last 11 matches in all competitions which were both incurred on their travels with losses at Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United respectively, but also includes collecting seven wins in the process as well.

The west midlands visitors have also picked up four wins in their opening six games in the Champions League as well, so the prospects of Villa scoring here look very promising indeed.
