Gremio will be going in search of back-to-back wins in the Brazilian top flight when they play host to Serie A strugglers, Coritiba, at the Arena do Grêmio on Sunday afternoon following their midweek 3-1 home win over America Mineiro and the hosts will be looking for more of the same on the weekend in order to further cement their place in the top four of the division.

Previously, Gremio had been handed a heavy 3-0 defeat away from home at Flamengo but overall recent results suggest that the hosts look to be well in control ahead of this upcoming clash with Coritiba as they have won four out of their last five games in the domestic top flight.

Coritiba face a mountain to climb on Sunday afternoon when they make their way to face a solid Gremio outfit at their Arena do Grêmio not only because the visitors sit bottom of the Serie A table but also as the visitors have still yet to register their first win of this Brazilian top flight campaign as well.

The bigger picture shows Coritiba have managed to capture just one away win from their previous 28 outings on their travels, losing 23 of these games which is an exceptionally poor record on the road.
