Cruzeiro extended their unbeaten run in the Brazilian Serie A to four matches with a 0-0 draw at home with Coritiba but the hosts will be keen to go a step better this Sunday afternoon when they play host to another relegation threatened outfit in the shape of Goias when they meet at their Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto.

Cruzeiro have picked up useful wins in recent times against Sao Paulo and Vasco da Gama, both by 1-0 margins which has helped the hosts into the top 12 pack while also picking up points in draws with Internacional and the aforementioned Coritba but the hosts know that if they can grab all three points here this Sunday, this could lift them further towards the top four clubs in what is a congested top half of the Serie A table.
