Seattle Sounders will be going in search of a fifth league win on the trot in the MLS when they entertain lowly St Louis City at their Lumen Field having racked up an impressive four wins on the trot, while St Louis City slumped to a second 4-1 loss on the trot on the weekend when they suffered defeat at home to Vancouver Whitecaps.

Seattle Sounders currently occupy the last of the Finals Series places in the Western Conference table as the hosts sit in seventh place having accumulated four wins on the bounce with impressive wins recorded against the likes of Dallas, Chicago Fire, New England Revolution and Austin respectively.

The former three wins were all registered on home turf at their Lumen Field while the bigger picture further underlines Seattle Sounders' solid sequence of results in the MLS as Brian Schmetzer's side have slipped to just two defeats in their last 14 games.

The visitors had previously been dealt a heavy 4-1 loss on the road at Colorado Rapids and results overall this season have left a lot to be desired for John Hackworth's side as they have managed to capture just four wins throughout this season's campaign overall.

The majority of St Louis City's modest success came in the early stages of this season's campaign as they collected three wins from their opening 11 games, whilst suffering just the single defeat in what was a pretty solid and stubborn start to the new term.
