DC United were handed yet another defeat in the MLS last weekend when they were dealt a heavy 5-0 thrashing away from home at the hands of Orlando City which not only extended their winless streak to 11 games but also means DC United still remain bottom of the Eastern Conference table, while Nashville also tasted a heavy defeat when they went down to a 4-1 loss away from home at Portland Timbers.

Eight defeats within their last 11 winless games in the MLS tells its own story where DC United have been concerned and morale amongst Troy Lesesne's side must now be approaching an all-time low as DC United's last win in the MLS was back in mid-May when they registered a 3-2 win away from home at Atlanta United.

Results on home soil have also been disappointing from DC United's perspective as the hosts have now failed to win any of their last seven games on home turf at their Audi Field whilst also slipping to four defeats within this period as well, suffering defeats at the hands of New York RB, Atlanta United, Houston Dynamo and Cincinnati respectively.
