The second of this week's semi-finals in the Nations League will feature this upcoming encounter between Spain and Italy at the De Grolsch Veste in Enschede with Spain looking to produce a positive response to defeat last time out to Scotland, while Italy will be keen to build upon a win away at Malta in their previous match.

Spain head into this upcoming semi-final tie in the Nations League on the back of some questionable results of late as they have managed to capture just one win from their last five matches in all competitions, that being a 3-0 home win against Norway in the opening game of the European qualifiers.

Recent results have also been questionable where Italy have been concerned as they have picked up just six wins from their last 15 matches in all competitions while also slipping to five defeats within this period as well, so the goals market perhaps look the best option for this clash with Spain.

Seven of Italy's last 15 games overall have seen both teams score while five of Italy's last 10 matches in the Nations League competition have also resulted in both teams hitting the back of the net.

Both Spain and Italy have failed to really convince in international matches in recent times but both sides look more than capable of scoring at least once in what looks like being a pretty evenly contested encounter at the Stadion Feijenoord.

Indeed, three of the previous four meetings between Spain and Italy have resulted in both nations scoring with two of these three results ending in a 1-1 draw with this scoreline standing a decent chance of landing on Thursday night at good odds.
