Similar to League A Group 3 counterparts, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Friday night's hosts, Hungary, have also struggled to gain an early foothold in this season's Nations League competition having managed to pick up just the single point from their opening two games, while Netherlands find themselves level on four points apiece with Germany following a win and a draw in their opening two games.

Oranje also look like they are slowly but surely gathering momentum again on the international stage after a pretty lean period as the visitors have lost just three out of their last 15 internationals in all competitions which came by way of defeats to the likes of Germany, Austria and England respectively, but also includes collecting no fewer than 10 victories along the way as well.

Recent wins in the Euro 2024 finals over Romania 3-0 and Turkey 2-1 will also give Ronald Koeman's side plenty of confidence as they seek to emerge from Group 3 and into the knockout rounds of this season's Nations League competition.

Results away from home also provide a strong indicator as to how far Netherlands have re-grouped in recent times as the Dutch have lost just twice in their last 16 internationals away from home whilst picking up 12 wins in the process, so this does not bode particularly well for Hungary this Friday night!
