Albacete tasted defeat for the first time in the early stages of this season's La Liga 2 campaign after being handed a 2-1 loss away from home at Malaga last time out in the Spanish second tier, while Eibar extended their unbeaten start to this new second tier campaign by gaining a point in a 2-2 draw at home with Levante.

Only three league positions and one point separate Albacete from their visitors Eibar ahead of Monday night's clash at the Estadio Carlos Belmonte in what is expected to be a tightly fought contest between two clubs who have made promising starts to this new campaign.
