Sevilla will be hoping they can kick-start what has been a disappointing new La Liga campaign this Sunday when they play host to fellow strugglers, Las Palmas, when the two teams resume their respective Spanish top flight seasons at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán following the recent international break.

Sevilla have picked up where they left off at the end of last season's La Liga campaign in a similar vein this term as the hosts have lost each of their opening three league matches on the trot after being handed defeats by the likes of Valencia, Alaves and Girona respectively which have left the hosts sitting bottom of the early La Liga table.

However, it should be noted that both of these points were achieved on home soil at their Estadio de Gran Canaria while the two defeats that Las Palmas have suffered so far this season have both been away from home with losses incurred at Valencia and Girona, both by 1-0 margins.

Newly promoted Las Palmas achieved promotion from La Liga 2 at the end of last season but the visitors will need to start picking up wins in addition to the draws if they're to remain in the domestic top flight, but they may well fancy their chances for the three points this Sunday against fellow strugglers, Sevilla.

The bigger picture shows Las Palmas have managed to capture just four wins out of their last 14 outings on their travels in all competitions so there certainly are no guarantees of success for Las Palmas this Sunday.
