Celta Vigo will play host to Osasuna at their Abanca-Balaídos on Sunday afternoon as the opening day fixtures of this new Spanish top flight season continue with both teams looking to make a positive start to this campaign.

Celta Vigo finished in the lower half of the La Liga table sitting in 13th place but although the hosts had previously failed to win any of their preceding six games of the season's run-in, Celta Vigo left the best for last as they registered an impressive 2-1 home win against Barcelona.

However, results away from home did tail off as the visitors lost their last three games on their travels on the trot with defeats dealt to them by Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Getafe respectively, so this upcoming trip to face Celta Vigo may cause Osasuna a few problems.

Indeed, the bigger picture shows Osasuna have managed to pick up just two away wins from their last 13 outings on the road which came in the shape of victories at Sevilla and Cadiz but having also slipped to six defeats as well along with five draws, the prospects of an away win here for the visitors does seem slim.

Goals may be in short supply in this fixture as six of Osasuna's last 10 away games have also resulted in Under 2.5 goals.
