Friday night brings us a relegation battle in the Spanish top flight as fourth from bottom club, Celta Vigo, play host to the bottom of the pile, Almeria, when the two teams meet at Abanca-Balaídos with Celta Vigo looking to end a three-match winless run in La Liga, while Almeria find themselves in grave danger of being cast adrift at the bottom of the La Liga table as the visitors are 12 points behind their upcoming hosts, Celta Vigo, and the visitors are still going in search of their first win of this season's campaign.

Celta Vigo have had their fair share of problems so far this season as the hosts have managed to capture just four wins throughout this term but although victories have been in short supply, wins against the likes of Almeria (3-2 away from home), Granada, Real Betis and Osasuna have at least kept Rafa Benitez's side out of the relegation zone for the time being.

Almeria are still looking for their first win of the season and as we are now towards the end of February, this is not a good sign at all for the visitors as they look to claw their way back from the brink of almost certain relegation.

Nine draws have been swamped by being handed no fewer than 17 defeats within their 26 league matches played to date and this does not bode well for this upcoming visit to Abanca-Balaídos on Friday night even against an ordinary performing Celta Vigo outfit.

Results away from home so far in this campaign have been particularly poor where Almeria have been concerned as the visitors have lost 11 of their 13 outings on the road so it would be fair to say that the straight win markets should be avoided but the goals market looks inviting as 11 of Almeria's 13 away games to date have resulted in both teams scoring.
