Daejeon Citizen gained what could prove to be a valuable point in last weekend's action in the South Korea top flight as the K-League strugglers managed to hold Pohang Steelers to a creditable 1-1 draw away from home, while Gwangju FC moved up into the top six of the K-League table following last weekend's 2-0 home win against fourth placed Gimcheon Sangmu which will give the visitors a timely boost ahead of this upcoming trip to the Daejeon World Cup Stadium.

Within these five wins, victories have been achieved on the road at Jeju United and FC Seoul along with a 2-1 home win against their upcoming hosts, Daejeon Citizen in their earlier meeting at the start of May.
