The opening round of games in this new Scottish Premiership season also features this upcoming Dundee Derby between hosts Dundee United and visitors Dundee, with United returning to the domestic top flight after they sealed automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, while Dundee achieved a top six finish at the end of the regular season which saw them progress to the Championship Round.

Dundee have won just two of their last 10 away games though in the Premiership and they face a tough local derby in their season opener on Sunday lunchtime.
