Celtic bounced back from their recent 3-0 mauling at the hands of their Old Firm rivals Rangers on the weekend when they registered a 3-0 win of their own against St Mirren at Celtic Park and The Hoops will hold home advantage once again on Wednesday night when they play host to Dundee United.

Dundee United's impressive three-match winning streak in the Scottish Premiership was brought to a sudden halt when they were handed a 1-0 loss at home by lowly Hearts but nevertheless, the upcoming visitors still remain in third place in the Scottish top flight table.

The visitors have produced a steady sequence of results in the Scottish Premiership in recent times as The Tangerines have suffered just two defeats in their last 11 matches overall which were dealt out to them by Motherwell and Hearts but also includes picking up five wins in the process as well.

Results away from home have also been fairly encouraging for Dundee United as the visitors have been dealt just two losses in their 10 outings on the road but they have gained just four away wins so far this term and they will be up against the runaway league leaders here.
