High noon on Sunday features this upcoming clash between Aberdeen and Rangers north of the border in the Scottish Premiership with Aberdeen looking to produce a much better showing this time following a 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Celtic at Celtic Park just before the international break and in the meantime, Rangers chalked up a fifth league win on the trot with a 2-0 victory at Livingston.

Rangers meanwhile will be seeking a sixth league win on the trot at Sunday lunchtime following impressive wins against St Mirren 3-0, Hibernian 4-0, Hearts 2-1, Dundee 5-0 and Livingston 2-0 respectively as The ‘Gers continue to pursue their quarry, namely the league leaders and arch-rivals Celtic who sit eight points clear at the top of the Premiership table.

The visitors have plundered a total of 16 goals within these five wins and indeed goals have featured on a regular basis so far this season where Rangers have been concerned as six of their 12 matches overall have resulted in Over 2.5 goals.

Despite being handed a 1-0 defeat in their first game away from home this season, Rangers have since clicked into gear as Philippe Clement's side have since racked up five wins on the trot on subsequent travels and they'll be pushing for all three points against Aberdeen on Sunday as well.

Aberdeen may have recorded a crushing victory over upcoming visitors, Rangers at Ibrox last time out towards the end of September but overall it's been Rangers that have dominated previous exchanges between these two clubs as The ‘Gers have won five out of the last seven meetings and with their current winning impetus behind them here, Philippe Clement's side look to have the measure of Aberdeen in this one as well.
