Waalwijk will return to the more familiar surroundings of their Mandemakers Stadion for this Friday night's clash with Heracles having failed to win any of their last four games but the hosts did manage to pick up a point in a 1-1 draw away from home at 13th placed Utrecht, while Heracles suffered a third defeat on the trot when they were dealt a comprehensive 4-0 defeat at home by Feyenoord.

It's been a tough campaign this season in the Dutch top flight for both Waalwijk and Heracles as both sides have managed to collect just four wins within their 16 league matches played to date this term and Waalwijk's highlights have been wins recorded against Vitesse, Twente, Volendam and Zwolle respectively.

However, Waalwijk have also succumbed to 10 defeats within their 16 matches so far in this season's Eredivisie campaign so the prospects of a home win here for the hosts does seem to be fraught with danger, especially as Hendrikus Fraeser's side have managed to register just two wins from their last nine home games in the domestic top flight, along with being handed no fewer than six defeats as well.

Indeed, Heracles have managed to register just one win from their previous nine games overall which came in the shape of a 5-0 win away from home at Almere City but the visitors have also been on the end of no fewer than seven defeats within this period as well.

However, although form and results in these last nine games also suggest backing Heracles in the straight win markets would seem to be highly risky, the goals market beckons once again as seven of these last nine games overall have also produced three goals or more.
