Roma earned a solid point away from home at Lazio just before the international break as Jose Mourinho's side held their hosts to a 0-0 stalemate as they signed off before the break sitting on the fringes of the top six pack in seventh place but just two points behind Fiorentina, while Udinese extended their stubborn looking unbeaten run in Serie A to six games after a 1-1 draw at home with Atalanta.

After enduring a tough start to this Serie A campaign with just the one win to show for their efforts from their opening six games of the season, Roma have since staged a recovery by losing just once in their subsequent six matches overall in the domestic top flight.
