Lazio gained a creditable point in the Italian top flight last weekend as they held the Serie A league leaders Inter Milan to a 1-1 draw away from home which also extended the hosts' unbeaten run to six games overall and control of the Europa Conference League qualifying spot, while Sassuolo remain sitting second from bottom in the Serie A table and now doomed to relegation after a dismal 2-0 loss at home to Cagliari as the visitors have just one game remaining of the season and find themselves five points adrift of safety.
