Lazio were handed a fourth defeat in six games in Serie A in last weekend's 1-0 loss to local rivals Roma which has left the hosts sitting in eighth place in the domestic top flight table and four points adrift of the top six clubs, while Salernitana gained a point in a high-scoring 2-2 draw at home with Sassuolo but nevertheless that result only extended the visitors' winless run to 13 games in Serie A.
