Genoa extended their unbeaten run in the Italian top flight to four games overall with a 1-1 draw away from home at Fiorentina on Monday night which has helped maintain their mid-table position of 12th in the Serie A table, while Lazio pressed home their claims for a possible top six finish with a comprehensive and resounding 4-1 home win against hapless Salernitana, making it three wins out of their last four matches in the domestic top flight.
