AC Milan collected a third win in four games in the Italian top flight last weekend when they recorded a 3-0 win away from home at Empoli which helped the hosts remain in third place in the Serie A standings, while Roma could only muster a point in a 1-1 draw at home with Atalanta making it just one win from their last five matches.

The majority of Roma's success so far in this season's Serie A campaign has also been achieved on home soil at their Stadio Olimpico where six of their eight wins to date have been registered, while results away from home continue to disappoint as the wider picture shows Roma have managed to capture just two wins from their previous 13 outings on the road, losing seven of these games.
